It is based on two concepts.
Anki anatomy. Active recall involves trying to remember a piece of information directly from memory without any hints. At this time it is not possible to add shared decks directly to your ankiweb account they need to be added from the desktop then synchronized to ankiweb. The reason its not up there is because the anatomy deck i have is not of great quality.
In other words active recall means testing. It is a flashcard app that uses a novel spaced repetititon algorithm to maximize learning. Hullo made this deck a while ago and have gotten a few messages about it.
